The Music Cafe
A hidden gem in Damascus, Maryland
In 2019 a friend and I discovered the Music Cafe in Damascus, Maryland. It has a wonderful back patio for outdoor dining. I’ve been there three times now and have yet to sit in the dining room because I’ve enjoyed eating outside on their back patio. Though (pre-pandemic) I’ve visited the loo while there was live music playing in the dining room.

The last time we were there pre-pandemic, we were joined by more friends for her birthday celebration. With hanging outdoor patio lights, good music, and wonderful company, it was the perfect way to celebrate my friend’s birthday. There was enough room for all eight of us.
To celebrate a year of missed birthday celebrations we met up again at our beloved spot in Damascus for some good music, yummy sandwiches, and relaxing outdoor dining. Unfortunately, when it was time to leave, we were missing out on the live entertainment that was just beginning on the patio. The singer was a crowd favorite as tables started to fill up as we were leaving.
